ULARA Salt and Nutrient Management Plan Technical Memorandum No. 3
Goals and Objectives
The ULARA Watermaster is pleased to announce the availability of the Public Review Draft of Technical Memorandum No. 3 – Goals and Objectives (TM-3). As a reminder, for various reasons, the ULARA Salt and Nutrient Management Plan Technical Memoranda are being prepared and released in a different order than originally envisioned. Hence, the remaining TM’s (TM-2 and -5) are in progress and will be released for public review in the near future.
TM-3 was prepared for the ULARA Watermaster by RMC Water and Environment. The purpose of TM-3 is to describe the goals and objectives for the Upper Los Angeles River Area (ULARA) Salt and Nutrient Management Plan (SNMP), with the specific purpose of estimating the amount of groundwater recharge that may occur in the future in the ULARA groundwater basins.
The draft of TM-3 can be downloaded by clicking the link below. The public comment period will be open for 30 days, beginning August 23, and ending on September 23, 2016.
